Today, you will journey south towards the Sahara Desert, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains. From there, continue your drive through beautiful cedar forests and picturesque Berber villages. Stop in Midelt for lunch, a town famous for its fossils and minerals. Afterward, continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil-rich land, and arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon.

Spend the night in a traditional Nomad tent in the desert, under a sky full of stars, with Berber music to accompany the night.

After a sunrise camel trek over the dunes, return to Merzouga and begin your journey towards Todra Gorges. The gorges are known for their dramatic 600-foot cliffs and lush palm groves.
