Day 1: Casablanca Arrival and City Tour

Upon arrival at Casablanca, your private driver will meet you at the airport and take you for a short tour of the city. Begin with a visit to the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and the fifth-largest in the world. This architectural marvel is perched on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with its towering 210-meter minaret being the tallest in the world. After visiting the mosque, you will have time to explore the economic capital of Morocco, known for its modern atmosphere and Art Deco architecture. In the evening, enjoy some free time in the city before checking into your hotel.

Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, head north to Rabat, the political capital of Morocco. In Rabat, you will explore the Oudaya Kasbah, a beautiful fortress with gardens that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Walk through the Kasbah’s narrow alleys, lined with whitewashed buildings and vibrant blue doors. Visit the Hassan Tower, a grand minaret that was part of an incomplete mosque, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where the royal family is buried. Then, continue your journey to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is known for its charming, narrow streets and buildings painted in various shades of blue, creating a tranquil and magical atmosphere.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Spend the morning exploring the blue city of Chefchaouen, taking in the beautiful alleys, squares, and local shops selling handmade crafts. Afterward, depart for Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will visit the ancient Roman ruins. Wander through the remains of this once-thriving city, including well-preserved mosaics, temples, and public buildings. Next, head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Explore the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the founder of the city, and visit the Bab Mansour Gate, considered one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco. You will also have time to see the impressive granaries, where food was stored for the sultan’s troops and animals. Finally, head to Fes for the evening.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a guided tour of the historic medina of Fes, one of the world’s largest car-free urban areas. Begin by exploring the King’s Palace, with its stunning gates and intricate design. Then, visit the famous tanneries where leather is dyed using traditional methods that have been practiced for centuries. You will also visit the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest existing degree-granting university in the world. Wander through the narrow, bustling streets, lined with spices, textiles, and pottery. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the medina at your own pace.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz valley – Erg Chebbi

Today, you will journey south towards the Sahara Desert, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be in Ifran, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” due to its alpine-like architecture. From there, continue your drive through beautiful cedar forests and picturesque Berber villages. Stop in Midelt for lunch, a town famous for its fossils and minerals. Afterward, continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil-rich land, and arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon.

Start your day by visiting the nearby Rissani market, one of the oldest and most traditional markets in Morocco, where you will see local crafts, spices, and traditional products. Continue to the Khamlia village, home to a group of descendants of slaves from sub-Saharan Africa. Here, you can enjoy the soulful rhythms of Gnawa music. In the afternoon, ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets, a truly magical experience. Spend the night in a traditional Nomad tent in the desert, under a sky full of stars, with Berber music to accompany the night.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorge

After a sunrise camel trek over the dunes, return to Merzouga and begin your journey towards Todra Gorges. The gorges are known for their dramatic 600-foot cliffs and lush palm groves.
