A Day-by-Day Experience
Embark on a 7-day Moroccan adventure, starting in Tangier and exploring Chefchaouen’s blue streets, the ruins of Volubilis, and the imperial city of Fes—journey to the Sahara Desert for camel trekking and a night under the stars. Visit Ait Benhaddou and the High Atlas Mountains before ending your tour in Marrakech.
Day 1: Tangier Port/Airport – Chefchaouen
Your journey begins as we meet you at the port or airport in Tangier and drive you through the Rif Mountains and Tetouan city. As we approach Chefchaouen, the stunning blue village at the foot of the Rif Mountains, enjoy the scenic views of the mountains. Chefchaouen’s medina features a Spanish-style square surrounded by funky arts and crafts stores, rooftop restaurants, and cafes.
Day 2 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast at the riad, our journey takes us towards Meknes, crossing through the Rif Mountains and the town of Wazan. In Meknes, a 17th-century stronghold, we will visit the historical medina, the majestic Bab Mansour Gate, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After exploring, we’ll drive to Fes, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 3: Full-Day Guided Tour of Fez
After breakfast, your exploration of Fes begins. This ancient city is one of Morocco’s oldest and most vibrant. Visit the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish Quarter (El Mellah), and Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest in the region. See the famous tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll visit a tile cooperative before enjoying a panoramic view of Fes’ entire Medina.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. On the way, enjoy views of the High Atlas Plateau and the Ziz Gorge. Upon reaching Errachidia, stop for lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. Continue through the Ziz Valley, where we will take a break for panoramic views before arriving in Merzouga. Afterward, embark on a camel ride across the dunes of the Sahara, guided by an experienced camel-man. Spend the night under the stars in the Luxury desert camp.
Day 5: Sahara Desert – Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley
Rise early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Sahara’s golden dunes. After the camel ride back to the guesthouse for breakfast, we’ll head toward Todgha Gorge, passing through Rissani and Erfoud. At Todgha Gorge, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch and take a short walk through the dramatic rock formations. We will then continue to Dades Valley for the evening.
Day 6: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, travel through the Dades Valley, famous for the Route of One Thousand Kasbahs, offering countless opportunities for beautiful photos.
