Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Ouarzazate
Depart from Agadir and drive through the Souss Valley toward Taroudant, known for its old walls and traditional atmosphere. Continue to Taliouine and Taznakht, famous for saffron and Berber carpets. Enjoy beautiful mountain landscapes before arriving in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. Overnight in a hotel or riad.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a spectacular clay village used in many films. Then cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass with panoramic views and scenic stops. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. Free time to discover Jemaa el-Fna square and the medina.
Day 3: Marrakech Guided City Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, visiting the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and traditional souks. Explore the lively streets full of spices, crafts, and local culture. Overnight in your riad.
Day 4: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
Leave Marrakech and drive to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Continue along the coast to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of Oudayas. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 5: Rabat – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, depart for Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit Bab Mansour, Lahdim Square, and the old medina. Continue to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Arrival and overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 6: Fes Guided City Tour
Discover Fes with a local guide. Visit the Royal Palace gate, Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous leather tanneries. Walk through narrow alleys filled with history and craftsmanship. Overnight in Fes.
Day 7: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and enjoy the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue via Midelt and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a camel trek at sunset and overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 8: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Nkob
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, travel through Rissani and the desert town of Alnif. Continue to Nkob, a peaceful village famous for its many kasbahs and palm groves. Dinner and overnight in a charming guesthouse.
Day 9: Nkob – Draa Valley – Anti-Atlas – Agadir
Drive through the magnificent Draa Valley with its long palm oasis and traditional villages. Cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains, enjoying dramatic landscapes and photo stops before arriving back in Agadir in the late afternoon.
