Day 1 : Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga – Merzouga Camel Trekking

Your adventure begins at 8:00 a.m., when we pick you up from your accommodation and embark on a scenic journey toward the Sahara Desert. Our route takes us through the breathtaking landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering stunning views and a glimpse into the traditional Berber lifestyle. Our first stop is in Ifrane, a charming town known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine architecture and winter ski resorts. We then pass through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where you may have the chance to see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. Midway through our journey, we stop in Midelt, a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by a picturesque mountain backdrop. As we continue south, the landscape transitions into the arid beauty of the Ziz Valley, leading us to Erfoud, a city famous for its rich fossil deposits and as the gateway to the desert. From here, we proceed to Merzouga, where an unforgettable experience awaits a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, painting the dunes in shades of orange and gold, we ride through the desert to reach our luxury bivouac camp. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed with traditional mint tea, followed by a delicious Berber dinner prepared from fresh, local ingredients. The evening is yours to enjoy, whether relaxing under a blanket of stars, listening to traditional Berber music.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

The day begins with a mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes, an experience not to be missed. You will have time to freshen up with a shower and enjoy an open-air breakfast overlooking the dunes. Leaving Merzouga behind, we head toward Rissani, the ancient capital of the Alaouite dynasty and home to one of the most authentic souks (markets) in Morocco. We then continue our journey to Erfoud, where we will visit a local fossil workshop, showcasing millions of years of geological history. Driving through vast palm groves and traditional Berber villages, we reach the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with towering rock walls that soar up to 300 meters high. Here, we take a leisurely walk through the gorge, surrounded by breathtaking cliffs and the tranquil Todra River. In the afternoon, we continue toward Boumalne Dades, passing by majestic rock formations and the stunning landscapes of the Dades Valley. Before arriving at our accommodation, we make a stop to admire the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and enjoy the panoramic views of the Dades Gorges Road, known for its winding curves and spectacular scenery.

Day 3 : Dades Gorges – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we begin our journey to Marrakech, passing through Morocco’s most scenic regions. Our first stop is El Kelaa M’Gouna, the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rosewater. We then follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, lined with ancient fortresses and Berber villages, before reaching Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Next, we visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a stunning fortified village featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring its narrow alleys and enjoying lunch with a view, we continue through the breathtaking Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at an Argan oil cooperative along the way.
